Our Kindergarten is a full-time program, Sunday through Thursday.<\/p>\n

Our Kindergarten Program focuses on developing a child\u2019s motor skills, social skills through activities in language, Science and Numeracy. Students in this age are recognized with their insatiable appetite to learn. This thirst for knowledge is what we strive to maintain throughout the child\u2019s education, nurturing their natural curiosity and challenging them to reach their full potential through discovery in the classroom.<\/p>\n

Through exploration, dynamic play, carefree creativity and academic instruction our enthusiastic learners develop skills that far exceed the curriculum for kindergarten. With our strong focus in literacy, they learn to read, spell through dictation, develop early dictionary skills, create their first pieces as writers and practice essential research skills.<\/p>\n

Each Child is unique, we recognize that they learn at their own pace and in their own way. Each child is identified through close observation, attention to the child\u2019s needs and individual time with the teacher.
The early learning curriculum involves mathematics, reading, writing and oral expression. It also includes activities that develop social, physical and creative skills.<\/p>\n

Our diverse curriculum finds our Senior Kindergarten students gaining a strong foundation in mathematics and logic and technology. Our strong focus on the arts finds them being creative in visual and performing arts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We follow Ontario Candain Curriculum through using Brightspace platform with Brightspace, our students get a flexible and powerful learning innovation platform built for every stage of life. It is an easy way to provide our students with timely and contextual feedback and assessments, In-line annotations, assessment hub, grade book, mastery view, video and audio feedback, and amazing rubrics within Brightspace it makes it easy for teachers to assess any type of activity, including electronic and paper submissions and observational assessments in the class and within the field. The curriculum closely follows the Ontario Curriculum and Libyan Curriculum guidelines, and stresses the educational basics, building strong foundations in reading, writing and arithmetic \u2013 using Brightspace platform.<\/p>\n

We take care to ensure that our graduates from Middle School are prepared for admission to a variety of international schools. A strong emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of personal strengths and areas for growth, on building confidence and skills for leadership.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Canadian Academy of Libya is the Frist School in Libya to introduce the OSSD.<\/p>\n

We are following this Canadian program through TVO\/ILC which is the government mandated School Board responsible for overseeing successful program delivery for all students that do not fall within the normal geographical boundaries.
International Schools such as CAL fall under jurisdiction of TVO ILC.<\/p>\n

Upon the completion of all required courses our students will graduate and receive the Ontario Secondary Diploma (OSSD), which is recognized in Canada and across the globe. Canada\u2019s universities maintain high standards of academic excellence and are consistently ranked among the top universities in the world. Students who hold a Canadian high school diploma have a much easier time overall when applying to these universities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The prime requirement that every aspirant has to meet is 30 high school course credits (18 compulsory and 12 optional courses). Students will also have to finish 40 hours of community involvement in high school.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
